This is going to be my first ever web event and I am really looking forward to it! I am going to book my ticket when I get home tonight!
I think this is going to be a good one!

You guys should do an NYC version of FOWA. Myself and two others of my team will be attending the Future of Online Advertising, as our company is launching ad network in the Caribbean. London is a great city, but way too far to fly for us at this time.
Also you guys should come on down to our event in Kingston, Jamaica called KINGSTON Beta http://www.kingstonbeta.com.
Love what you guys are doing, been a Carson watcher for a little while now.
Peace
Ingrid

Ryan, thanks for keeping the early bird pricing until the end of January (payday!;)). Although I am a developer, I’ll be attending this (along with FOWA) just to keep my hand in. Looks like another fine event.

Wow! Even though it’s just after my vacation I’ll try to make it, London is one of the most reachable locations for me to get there thus I’m really glad we have a growing number of such great events here in Europe. Thumbs up, Ryan!

Hey Ryan. Every time you add a new post, it appears once in my google reader and then appears again roughly an hour after the first. Not sure if its a bug, just thought I’d let you know.

Dave – are you subscribed to both the Bare Naked App and Carsonified! feeds? That would definitely cause that behavior.
Ryan Carson
# January 18, 2007 - 4:54 pm
Dave, as Mark said, if you’re still subscribed to BNA, you’ll see this.
If not, it might be a bug with Google Reader, as we’re just using standard WordPress and FeedBurner here for Carsonified.

No problem! Glad you can make it :)

Ooo! I can’t wait to hear what Josh Davis motivational speaker and Olypic swimmer speaker has to say!
Dave
# January 18, 2007 - 6:38 pm
That would explain it. I am subscribed to both (excellent) blogs. Thanks.

After having to miss FoWA due to a last minute vacation I signed up straight away for this one. Nice to see some new names in the schedule.

What a killer lineup. Looks like it’ll be a good one.

# January 19, 2007 - 8:44 am
We’ve considered it, but probably won’t be doing that for quite some time. Sorry about that!
Thanks Jan :)
Thanks – we worked hard on the schedule. We wanted to make sure it was valuable, interesting and new.

Hey, Ryan, what would you answer to me to a question what is the main difference between FOWA and FOWD? I know, there is a obvious difference between speakers, but it seems to me some issues slightly overlap on these two events. Will you persuade me about the difference ?:)
Ryan Carson
# January 20, 2007 - 10:14 pm
Hey Michael,
FOWA is aimed at folks building web apps – mainly developers and business owners.
FOWD is aimed specifically at web designers. It’ll focus a lot on how to find inspiration and other challenges web designers face.

OK, thanks for your reply. I will consider it, as FOWA already consumed a big part of my “inspiration” budget :)
