I think designing user-centric websites is extremely important and something not enough designers are taking advantage. It does take more work and a lot more thought but overall it provides users with such a better experience. I do a lot of work as a Chicago freelance web designer and I have found that I achieve much better results when putting a lot of focus in user centric design. Great article, thank you!

This is a new concept for me. Web design is becoming more user-centric day by day. Since most of the websites have some products or services to sell, they want high conversion rates. High conversion rates mean more sales and who doesn't want more sales.

Great insight, just noticed this article. Personally I have decided to use OpenID for my personal project before hand. Now after reading this article I see that it is much easier to get users past that registration hurdle. Great read and alot of good resources. Thanks for this write-up.
